Father Michael H. Hull dies in Augusta

Father Michael H. Hull, 67, died July 10 at his home in Augusta.

 

Born July 1, 1952 in Arkansas, Father Hull spent many years in Texas before moving to Augusta to become the pastor of St. Ignatios of Antioch Melkite Eastern Catholic Church. Father Hull also celebrated Mass in the Latin Rite at St. Mary on the Hill Church. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his daughter, Christiana Hull; his, son Michael Ross Hull; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Hull, Dallas Hull and Tyler Long; and a sister, Tammy Hull.

 

Nicholas Samra, bishop of the Melkite Eparchy of Newton, Massachusetts, celebrated a Divine Liturgy funeral in the Byzantine-rite for Father Hull July 16 at St. Mary on the Hill Church. Burial will be at a later date in Mattador, Texas.
